No, this webcomic isn't dead.  No, I'm not dead.  However, my primary computer, the one with all the fonts and graphics apps and source material and scripts and memory and bookmarks, and the scanner connection, IS dead.  I have narrowed it down to the motherboard as the most likely cause and have a replacement on the way.  Until then, everything is on hold.  Y'all know how it is -- when something ain't right, everything ain't right until that something is made right once more.

I have no clue how long it will take to get everything up and running again... it's been a long time since I put a computer together, and lighting candles and sacrificing a live chicken over a fresh install of Windows is never an easy thing to do.
